Terms of Service

Last updated October 16, 2026

These terms govern access to and use of the Ramseyer service and this website, provided by Ramseyer AI, Inc. (“Ramseyer”, “we”). Where your organization has signed an order form or other agreement with us, that agreement governs to the extent it conflicts with these terms. By using the service you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.

1. Accounts

Accounts are issued by invitation to individuals at a subscribing organization. You must keep your credentials confidential, may not share an account, and are responsible for activity under it. Tell us promptly at legal@ramseyer.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

2. Subscription and fees

Access is provided on a subscription basis. Fees, term, number of users, and payment terms are set out in your order form. Unless the order form says otherwise, fees are non-refundable and exclude taxes.

3. Use of the service

You may use the service for your organization's internal purposes and for advising its clients, in accordance with these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of them.

4. Your content

You retain your rights in the questions you submit and the materials you add (“your content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display your content to provide the service to you and the people you share it with. We treat your content as confidential and handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Results

Briefs, lists, and other results produced for you may be used, copied, and distributed by you and your organization, including to clients. The public-domain text of legislation and government documents remains in the public domain.

Results are produced with the help of automated systems and may be incomplete or wrong. They are a research aid and do not constitute legal advice. You are responsible for verifying results against the cited sources before relying on them.

6. Our property

The service, including its software, design, compiled datasets, enrichments, and the arrangement of its contents, is owned by Ramseyer and its licensors and is protected by law. Except for the rights expressly granted in these terms, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Feedback

If you send us suggestions about the service, we may use them without obligation to you.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend access that we reasonably believe breaches these terms or threatens the service or others, and will tell you why where we can. Either party may terminate as provided in the order form. On termination your right to use the service ends; on request made within 30 days we will provide an export of your searches.

9. Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated in an order form, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising out of these terms or the service. Each party's total liability is limited to the fees paid or payable by your organization for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to a party's fraud, wilful misconduct, or breach of confidentiality, or to your payment obligations.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms. We will post the revised version here with a new date and give account holders reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

13. Contact

Notices and questions about these terms may be sent to legal@ramseyer.ai.
