Privacy Policy

Last updated October 16, 2026

This policy describes how Ramseyer AI, Inc. (“Ramseyer”, “we”) handles personal information collected through this website and the Ramseyer service. It applies to visitors to ramseyer.ai and to users of app.ramseyer.ai.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you give us, such as your name, work email, and organization, when you request a demo or write to us.
  • Account information: your name, work email, organization, sign-in credentials, and, if enabled, two-factor authentication settings.
  • Content you submit: the questions you ask, the searches and briefs produced for you, tags and edits you make, and whom you share them with.
  • Usage and technical data: log records such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, used to operate and secure the service.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the service is not directed to them.

How we use it

  • To provide the service: to run your searches, produce briefs, and keep your work available to you.
  • To manage accounts, authenticate users, and support the people you share searches with.
  • To respond to demo requests and other correspondence.
  • To secure the service, prevent misuse, and enforce our Terms.
  • To maintain and improve the service, including by diagnosing errors.
  • To comply with law.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising.

Service providers

We use service providers to operate Ramseyer, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us. They include Amazon Web Services, which hosts the service and stores its data, and providers of AI models, which process the text of your questions and the documents retrieved for them in order to produce results. Under our agreements with them, these model providers do not use your content to train their models.

Sharing

Your searches are visible only to you until you share one. We disclose personal information otherwise only to the service providers described above; where required by law or legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ramseyer, our users, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Retention

We keep account information and content for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Searches you delete are removed from the service; copies may remain in backups for a limited period. Demo request details are kept until the request is resolved, or for as long as you remain in correspondence with us.

Security

Accounts are created by invitation. Data is encrypted in transit, and access to it is limited to personnel who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to receive a copy of it, by writing to legal@ramseyer.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honor requests as that law requires. If your account is provided by your organization, we may refer your request to it.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The Ramseyer service uses cookies and similar storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to secure your session.

International transfers

Ramseyer is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored there.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the revised version here with a new date and, where a change is material, notify account holders.
